Responsibilities:
- Present training curriculum to both live audiences and virtual audiences
- Deliver high-quality training classes on products to customers, partners and internal staff
- Acquire a deep understanding of all supported company products and interfacing networking equipment
- Travel to domestic and international customer locations
- Work with the Training, Engineering, Product, and Documentation teams to develop technical training courses (percentage of training vs. platform time varies depending upon project).
- Install and configure remote lab equipment
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum ten years’ instruction experience in a networking/technology environment; international training experience preferred
- Minimum ten years’ experience with TCP/IP networking
- Strong understanding of and experience with UNIX (Linux and/or Solaris) administration
- Intimate knowledge of internet technology and operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong motivation and flexibility
- Ability to work successfully both as part of a team and independently with minimal direct supervision
- Ability to sustain a positive attitude when working under pressure to meet project deliverables
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Knowledge in any of the following areas a plus: NAT, Proxies, Load Balancing, Firewalling, VMware, VLANs, GRE, and Mobile Internet Technology.
